“When Will Anthony Marrocco Come Clean about this Culture of Corruption?”
Harrison Township, MI—The Candice Miller for Macomb campaign criticized Macomb Public Works Commissioner Anthony Marrocco and Deputy Public Works Commissioner Dino Bucci for their failure to address the ongoing allegations against Macomb County Deputy Public Works Commissioner and Macomb Township Trustee Dino Bucci. As the FBI continues its investigation into corruption in various levels of Macomb County government, Macomb Township resident Eddie Jawad stepped forward with new allegations against Dino Bucci.
“Anthony Marrocco and Dino Bucci have operated a culture of corruption for 24 years. Now that people are stepping forward to address these allegations, Marrocco and Bucci should come clean on their actions,” stated Jamie Roe, Candice Miller for Macomb campaign spokeperson.
In 2004, the Detroit News reported that a Macomb Township resident filed a complaint with the Macomb County Prosecutor’s office against Dino Bucci acting as Deputy Public Works Commissioner citing a 1997 Attorney General opinion where a city councilman couldn’t serve as county drain commissioner because of potential conflicts. Anthony Marrocco admitted in the Detroit News article that Dino Bucci would serve as Deputy Public Works Commissioner regularly where Marrocco directed him in the statement, “He [Bucci] just does what he’s told to do by myself, the deputy, or the drain board.”

I can make your life a living hell if do not be my boy. This is what exact he said to me. And I would never forget that.”
In addition, a Mount Clemens investments company filed a lawsuit in Macomb County Circuit Court against the township and Bucci, claiming Bucci tried to extort $76,000 from the company when it tried to get a refund on water and sewer fees for a development that wasn’t constructed.
